By accessing or using the TechAlfa website and joining our student community, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or register for our initiatives.

2. Community Code of Conduct

To maintain a healthy, collaborative, and safe environment for student innovation, all members of TechAlfa must adhere to our Code of Conduct:

• Respect and Inclusivity: Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior of any kind in community forums, communication channels, workshops, or hackathons is strictly prohibited.
• Academic Integrity: Plagiarism, copy-pasting existing projects without proper citation, or using unfair means during coding challenges and hackathons is prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and community ban.
• Collaboration: We encourage constructive criticism, sharing knowledge, and helping peers grow.

3. Intellectual Property

We believe in open-source development and respecting creators' rights:

• Project Ownership: Unless stated otherwise in specific hackathon rules, all projects, repositories, and ideas built by participants during TechAlfa events remain the sole intellectual property of their respective creators.
• Open-Source Contributions: Contributions made to TechAlfa's official open-source repositories must adhere to the corresponding repository licenses.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

TechAlfa is a student-led educational community. All workshops, code samples, mentoring sessions, platforms, and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee employment, academic success, or continuous platform uptime.

5. Event Registration and Refund Policy

All event, competition, and workshop registrations at TechAlfa are final and non-refundable. However, we believe in honoring and appreciating the participation and effort of all our students. Therefore, a certificate of participation or completion will be awarded to all registered attendees, regardless of the final outcome of the event, provided basic participation guidelines are met.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to review and update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated directly on this page with a revised date. Continued participation in TechAlfa initiatives signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
